The college application process is a giant project with multiple parts and deadlines that individually are not that difficult, but together can be overwhelming. It is for this reason that applying strong Executive Functioning strategies (what to do, when, in what order, and why) makes this process more manageable. And because most of our students tend to avoid or hyper-focus when they experience stress, our strategies ensure that they get everything done on time and with confidence.

The first step is an Initial Consultation.
Where we answer all of your questions and create the right strategy for your goals and budget.
this one hour consultation is designed to demystify the process and to clarify your admissions goals. Afterwards, we will be able to:
Determine your child’s digital profile.
Identify a strategy for a school list based on academic and professional goals, social interests, financial viability, etc.
Design a strategy for application completion that is specific to your child’s admissions goals. This includes a checklist of application components (transcripts, scores, letters of recommendation, etc) and a timeline for addressing them.
Create a strategy for the college essays and guidance through the writing process. This piece is particularly crucial as it is the only part of the application where your child has a voice and can be more than a statistic. Also, most prompts will encourage your child to write about the wrong topic and is a fast track to a rejection letter. We ensure that doesn’t happen.
Our goal is that after the assessment you and your child will have all the tools needed to complete the admissions process independently, and then we are here to support you for as much or as little as you prefer.
Put simply, after your consultation it is a la carte based on your needs and budget.
